One thing I've learned from caring for these animals is that there's always something new to learn and always something more we can try to make their lives better. ❤️

JoJo and Spartacus came to us together, and I've actually started wondering if JoJo might still have some vision. We're planning to have the same ophthalmologist who treated Oscar come out to the farm and examine everyone in the blind pasture. I'm hopeful that some of them may still have partial vision and could potentially benefit from surgery.

I'm also excited to start trying a supplement called Clear Eyes from Silver Lining Herbs. After talking with the company, I'm hopeful it may help support eye health for some of our animals, especially those dealing with moon blindness. We'll have to see how they respond!

And of course, there's my Oscar. Even if we can't restore his vision, I'll do anything I can to keep those eyes healthy and make sure he's comfortable.

Looking around at JoJo, Spartacus, Pippi, Freckles, and Sarika, I just feel so grateful that we get to give them a place where they're safe, loved, and cared for.

There's still so much we're learning about their individual needs, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this special little group. ❤️
